2 Killed, 4 Injured in Ocala New Year’s Day Shooting: Authorities reported that two individuals were killed and four others were hurt in a shooting early on Sunday in Ocala, Florida.

A gathering of roughly 100 individuals had gathered nearby the 1600 block of Southwest 5th Street when gunfire broke out about 4:30 in the morning, according to a news release from the police.

The authorities named the two fatalities Davonta Harris, 30, and Abdul Hakeem Van Croskey, 24. Four further victims, whose names were withheld, had stable conditions.
