What if your whole life was built on a lie?

All her life Wendy Everly knew she was different. At six years old her mother convinced her she was a monster and tried to kill her. Eleven years later, her mother might have been right. As her whole life begins to unravel, Wendy realizes that she is a changeling who was switched at birth, and all because of Finn Holmes.

Finn is a quiet, mysterious guy who seems to have all the answers about Wendy. Every encounter is intense and leaves her shaken up, but it has little to do with the attraction she feels when she’s with him. No, it’s deeper than that. Finn eventually reveals the truth that he’s there to take Wendy home.

Now, Wendy finds herself in a magical world that she didn’t know existed. It’s beautiful and frightening all at once, but she has to leave her human life behind her and embrace who she has to become. And that will dictate the whole future of her people.

Switched by Amanda Hocking is both magical and beautiful. It’s the first book in the Trylle trilogy and the introduction of the wonderful world of the Trylle. I love it so much and would recommend it to anyone. It’s perfect for anyone that loves a good forbidden romance. I give this book five stars out of five.
