The homecoming parade this year has hit a bump in the road this year. The flood in April damaged a bridge we use for the parade route. The Anderson Betterment Club and the City officials have shut down the Main Street bridge due to an inspection by the Army Corp of Engineers. The bridge during the flood was completely submerged. This bridge is really important because it is the way for a lot of students to get to the high school and other places they want to go. The city officials are trying to find a way around the bridge. So if you drive down Main Street please be careful and watch for signs that say that the bridge is closed.
