Drama 3 Play: Number the Stars

As some of you may not know, the Drama 3 class puts on a play every semester. This semester’s play is Number the Stars, based on the fictional novel by Lois Lowry. The story takes place in occupied Copenhagen, Denmark, of 1943 during the third year of Nazi occupation of Denmark.

The story revolves around 10-year-old Annemarie Johansen, played by Ariel Pilkerton/Taylor Tyson, and her best friend Ellen Rosen, played by Raechel Mann/Caitlin Hall, who’s Jewish, and Annemarie has to help her escape occupied Copenhagen. It’s a pretty interesting story; I suggest checking out the book if you can’t come to watch the play.

The air times are as followed:

Cast 1: November 17th, at 7:00 P.M. & November 18 at 7 P.M.

Cast List A: November 16th at 7:00 P.M. & November 18th at 2:00 P.M.

They will all take place in the MCHS performing arts center (PAC). Admission is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for kids.
