Holiday Season has begun and that means that there are many activities that you don’t want to miss out on!
Lights @ Bentonville Square
Every year right before Thanksgiving there is a special place were your family and friends can celebrate the start of the Holiday Season, this year it was on November 18. People from everywhere around Northwest Arkansas go to enjoy live music, hot chocolate, and eventually the lighting of the beautiful lights. This is located on the Bentonville square and it is free to attend.
Every year since 1982 over 2 million lights are turned on in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. This lasts from November 22 up until New Year’s Day! The lights will shine every day between then from 5:30 PM – 11:30 PM and admission is FREE! It is said to attract about 200,000 visitors every year!
An Old Time Christmas – SDC
This holiday season make sure to take your family to Branson, Missouri to experience the glow of over 6.5 million lights. Not only will you be able to see the lights, but you will also get to experience thrilling rides and attractions (if the weather permits.) Christmas Season at Silver Dollar City opened on November 2nd and will continue to be open until December 30th. Single day tickets are $61 for adults and $50 for children, or you could get a two-day pass for $66 for adults and $55 for children!
Ice Skating Rink @ Lawrence Plaza
This ice skating rink is located in Bentonville, Arkansas by the square, it is an outdoor skating rink. It is a great way to spend some quality time with your family! It is open from November 18th-January 15th, and their prices include $3 per ice skating session, $2 per ice skate rental, and $50 per family season pass!
