Samantha Lea Frazier is a senior this year. You may have noticed her making three’s on the court during this basketball season. However, basketball is just one of the interesting things about Samantha. Outside of school, Samantha is involved in a slow pitch softball team with her older brother Trenton.
Sam’s basketball career began about 8 years ago, she started playing when she was just 10 years old and has never missed a season since. I asked Samantha what her favorite memory of playing basketball was, and she said “Scoring twenty-one points in one game during my junior year.”
Her favorite year of high school has been her senior year because it has gone by so fast, and she doesn’t have many classes. She says that her favorite class of her senior year has been running the coffee shop during lunch with her best friend Faith. Her favorite high school sport to watch is football because “The student section always goes hard.”
Samantha’s plans after high school are to work at her family business, and make enough money to feed her KFC addiction.
