If you are a junior or a senior, you will want to obtain this information. If you are an underclassman and are looking to take ACT, then this information is for you as well.
For Juniors (Free ACT & ASVAB)
If you are wanting to take the ACT, you will have the opportunity to take a free one on December 14th, 2019. They are testing out the ACT online instead of paper that is why juniors have the chance to take it for free.
The ASVAB is coming up in October, which every junior has to take to graduate. ASVAB stands for Armed Serviced Vocational Aptitude Battery.
For Seniors (ACT & FAFSA)
If you are a Senior and wanting to take the ACT on December 14th, you will have to test at a different location. You should register for the December ACT before November 8th.
The next ACT test hosted at MCHS is February 8, 2020. The deadline for the February ACT is January 10th, 2020. The late registration deadline is January 17th, 2020.
FAFSA night is October 10th, 2019. If you need assistance with the application, you should come to FAFSA night and bring your parents. You will need specific documents, if you need information about that, go see Mr. Brady in the counselor’s office. If you plan on coming to FAFSA night, sign up in the counselor’s office.
