Some people have heard of her and some people know her. Coach Schooley is a Special Education teacher and the freshman volleyball coach at McDonald County High School. She went to high school in Pea Ridge and played softball, basketball, and volleyball there. She went to Crowder and got her associate in general studies, and dental assistant license.
Coach Schooley has always loved being in the classroom, but she was able to get her current job because of a little luck and because McDonald County had a good reputation for a school.
“I’ve just always heard good things about here, and I wanted to get out of Arkansas,” Schooley said. “When I moved here, the job popped open. It was perfect timing.”
According to Coach Schooley, working at this school also has a lot of perks.
“I get to inspire others just like my teacher did back in high school, that’s the best feeling.”
