5 Trapped in Raynham Crash 1 Killed 4 Injured

5 Trapped in Raynham Crash 1 Killed 4 Injured: According to Raynham Police Chief James Donovan and Fire Chief Bryan LaCivita, a car accident at the intersection of Route 44 and Paramount Drive resulted in one fatality and four significant injuries. The Raynham Police and Fire departments responded to reports of a crash near the Courtyard by Marriott Boston Raynham at 2:22 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7.

According to a written statement from the police department, the first responders saw a “Ram pickup truck had off the lane and smashed into a traffic signal pole.” Inside the car, five individuals were stranded. According to the statement, firefighters used hydraulic rescue and cutting equipment to free the victims. The fire departments of Lakeville and Taunton assisted Raynham.

After surviving the collision, two men and two women were transported by ambulance to nearby hospitals. A male, the fifth individual, was confirmed deceased at the site. The pickup truck was the lone vehicle involved in the collision, according to the statement.
