A Georgia Guy Reportedly Stabbed and Killed His Parents: Authorities claim that a man in Georgia fatally murdered his father and seriously injured his mother. Following allegations of a stabbing, deputies from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office went to a residence in the 2800 block of Cambria Court on Sunday, according to Fox Atlanta.
John Boswell, 65, was discovered deceased at the scene. Officials add that a female victim who had also been stabbed and was identified as the suspect’s mother was brought to a nearby hospital in serious condition. The 36-year-old murder suspect Catlin Boswell allegedly left the scene before police arrived.

In a nearby county, he was taken into custody. The concept that a son could kill his father and attempt to kill his mother is beyond comprehension, said Forsyth Sheriff Ron Freeman in a statement. “Violent crimes like this are still surprising in Forsyth.”
“The amazing work of our Uniform Patrol Division and the skilled work of our Major Crimes and Crime Scene units was the primary result of our ability to take this offender into custody in less than two hours.” No apparent reason has been given. Boswell is being held without bond at the Forsyth County Jail on charges of murder and serious assault. The murder is the subject of an ongoing inquiry.
