Along with writing songs for Los Caminantes, Ramrez also wrote music for other bands like El Tiempo, Los Sagittarius, and El Jefe y Su Grupo.
He wrote “Una Noche Mas Sin Ti,” a ballad in 1990, for the island band Los Joo. In 1993, the mayor of Agustin Ramrez’s hometown of San Pancho presented him with an honorary plaque, which was then mounted on a wall.
