Amy Grant Hospitalized After Bike Accident In Nashville

Amy Grant, a famous Christian singer, went to a hospital in Nashville on Wednesday for medical attention after suffering injuries in a bicycle accident. Grant’s publicist Velvet Kelm confirmed to USA TODAY that first responders took the best-selling “Heart In Motion” musician to Vanderbilt Medical Center to receive treatment for wounds and abrasions following the collision. Grant was cycling close to a golf course before the accident. At the time of the collision, she was donning a bicycle helmet.

Grant spent the night in the hospital on Wednesday as a precaution, according to Kelm, who also noted that the singer’s condition is stable. “Take care of yourself,” says Amy Grant following heart surgery. Grant recently become a member of the class of 2022 Kennedy Center Honorees, which is regarded as one of the highest honours in American entertainment. Two years have passed since Grant underwent open-heart surgery to correct a congenital abnormality following a health scare.
