Amy Grant, a famous Christian singer, went to a hospital in Nashville on Wednesday for medical attention after suffering injuries in a bicycle accident. Grant’s publicist Velvet Kelm confirmed to USA TODAY that first responders took the best-selling “Heart In Motion” musician to Vanderbilt Medical Center to receive treatment for wounds and abrasions following the collision. Grant was cycling close to a golf course before the accident. At the time of the collision, she was donning a bicycle helmet.
Grant spent the night in the hospital on Wednesday as a precaution, according to Kelm, who also noted that the singer’s condition is stable. “Take care of yourself,” says Amy Grant following heart surgery. Grant recently become a member of the class of 2022 Kennedy Center Honorees, which is regarded as one of the highest honours in American entertainment. Two years have passed since Grant underwent open-heart surgery to correct a congenital abnormality following a health scare. Grant said that she underwent surgery in June 2020 after receiving a diagnosis of partial abnormal pulmonary venous return in February 2020.

Grant gave “Good Morning America” an update on her health eight months following her operation. “I’m in great shape. I simply have the impression that this year will be the best one yet. I adore it “said Grant. The singer was born with a cardiac problem that she was unaware of until her doctor advised she have a checkup while accompanying her husband Vince Gill to the clinic. Grant remarked, “My birth condition was an impending killer and I had no knowledge. “My suggestion is to look for yourself because the world needs you,”
