Beach Park Man Accused of Kidnapping 3 Ohio Kids: After Lake County sheriff’s police located the three Ohio youngsters Saturday at a nearby gas station, a Beach Park man has been charged with kidnapping them. Authorities claimed that on social media, Michael Negron, 19, of the 10600 block of West York house Road, had become a buddy with one of the kids, a 12-year-old girl.
On Wednesday, he traveled to Middleton, Ohio, to meet the girl, her sister, who is 14, and their friend, a 15-year-old male, according to sheriff’s police. According to the authorities, Negron, who stayed in a hotel, left with the kids on Friday night.
At 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, the girl’s parents called the sheriff’s office. Authorities claimed that when one daughter texted a description of the car, the parents tracked one child’s mobile to the 10600 block of West York house Road and discovered it was a Ford Mustang.

Deputies started scouring the area after sheriff’s telecommuters used a database to identify Negron as a suspect. Just before 1:30 p.m., they discovered the Mustang with Negron and the kids at a Beach Park gas station near Lewis Avenue and Wadsworth Road.
He is accused of kidnapping and three counts of endangering children. Initially, the Lake County Children’s Advocacy Center received the kids. The youngsters have been reunited with their relatives, said Christopher Covelli, deputy sheriff, on Sunday.
According to officials, Negron and the 12-year-old appeared to have been in contact for several weeks through Fortnite, Snapchat, and other social media sites.
Sheriff John D. Idleburg stated in a statement: “It is an unpleasant fact, but there are predators among us who prey on children.” “Many predators first meet children online and gain their trust using social media tools. They persuade the youngster to meet after establishing that confidence.
It is crucial to check your kids’ electronics to find out what programs they are using, with whom they are speaking, and what they are saying. I am incredibly proud of my employees for banding together to find and save these kids so swiftly.
