After dating for two years, Dixie D’Amelio and Noah Beck decided to end their relationship. The former couple expects to “remain close friends” despite their breakup, according to Beck’s representatives, who confirmed earlier this week to the New York Times that they are no longer together.
The news comes after months of rumours that the couple split up when Beck skipped D’Amelio’s 21st birthday celebration in Las Vegas. To save their “complex” relationship, D’Amelio explained, the couple stopped posting together on TikTok about the same time as curious admirers noticed.
In September, the influencer told Entertainment Tonight they were “together but keeping it offline.” Naturally, keeping things offline complicates matters, but ultimately, attempting to create a profession and determining whether or not we’re even happy requires a lot of back and forth.
“I just hope people give us grace,” she added, “going from seeing each other every day in quarantine to being so busy and having schedules that we can’t match with is very stressful and challenging.” The two influencers, who both rose to stardom during the COVID-19 pandemic, have split up for real this time, but they also had a brief separation at the beginning of the year.
