Five Dead in North Carolina Home Thought to Be Murder-suicide: Five Dead in North Carolina Home Thought to Be Murder-suicideIn a murder-suicide that authorities are looking into, three youngsters and two adults were discovered dead in a North Carolina home on Saturday morning.  According to a news statement from High Point police, officers responded to a call at around 7 a.m. reporting “two people screaming for help” from a property in the city.

Officers had to “force an entrance into the home” after discovering two individuals who needed assistance when they arrived, according to the press statement. Five dead bodies were found inside, according to authorities.

“Of the five victims, two were adults and three were little children. At the site, all of the victims were declared dead. According to High Point police, the investigation is still underway and there is currently no indication that the community is in danger. Police failed to pinpoint a cause of death or a motive.

A family of eight was found shot to death inside their home in Enoch City, Utah, on Wednesday. According to investigators, this was also a murder-suicide. Michael Haight, 42, is suspected of killing his wife, mother-in-law, and five children in addition to himself.
