Get ready for a closer look at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s personal lives. The first official trailer for “Harry & Meghan,” the upcoming docuseries about the newlyweds, has been made available by Netflix. In the trailer, they are questioned, “Why did you want to film this documentary?” and then several pictures of the couple in both formal and informal settings are shown.
Prince Harry is heard saying, “No one sees what’s going on behind closed doors.” “I had to take whatever precaution I could to keep my family safe.” When the stakes are this high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our tale from us, Meghan is heard stating in a later scene.
It’s described as “an unparalleled and in-depth documentary series” on Netflix. According to a press release for the show, “over the course of six episodes, the series recounts the covert days of their early courting and the difficulties that drove them to feel compelled to step back from their full-time duties at the institution.”

The series “does more than illuminate one couple’s love story; it paints a picture of our world and how we treat each other with commentary from friends and family, most of whom have never spoken publicly before about what they witnessed, and historians who discuss the state of the British Commonwealth today and the royal family’s relationship with the press.” Although there is no set release date, Netflix has stated that the project will be “coming soon.”
