Jeremiah Green illness: Does He Diagnosed With Cancer?

Jeremiah Green illness: Does He Diagnosed With Cancer?: Jeremiah Green, the drummer for Modest Mouse, has been identified as having stage IV cancer. Carol Namatame, Green’s mother, posted on Facebook on Sunday, December 25, “Please send healing vibes for my son, Jeremiah Green, who is facing stage 4 cancer,” without mentioning the specifics of her son’s condition. He is [sic] very courageous and strong, and he is still going strong!

Green co-founded the Seattle-based band Modest Mouse in 1992 and has served as its drummer ever since. The band started a tour last month to mark the 25th anniversary of The Lonesome Crowded West, their second album.

The 45-year-old musician was featured in some pictures Namatame published with the Sunday post, including shots of him performing on stage and spending time with his family. After Namatame made his statement, DJ Marco Collins posted information about his friend’s diagnosis on social media. He said the Massachusetts native had to leave the tour early due to the diagnosis.

Collins, 57, wrote: “Just learned my friend Jeremiah Green (Modest Mouse) has withdrawn from the band’s tour because he presently has chemo treatments to fight stage 4 cancer.” “His outlook is favorable despite his stage 4 diagnosis! Additionally, his oncologist is a massive fan of MM, so he’s got that on his side!

According to the radio host, Green received “nothing but love & healing energy.” He added three red love emojis and said, “We’re all rooting for you!” On the other hand, Green has not yet disclosed his health publicly. His bandmates have remained silent on his diagnosis, although they will start a new tour supporting their album The Golden Casket in 2021.

It is unknown if Green will travel to the three Lollapalooza South America music festivals in March 2023, when Modest Mouse is set to perform in Chile, Argentina, and Brazil. Before his health concern, Green had a nervous breakdown in 2003 and took a year off from performing. Only the 2004 release Good News for People Who Love Bad News is absent from the band’s repertoire.

In June 2021, Green said to NME, “I was insane. “I was very excited. I was insane. It was strange. I was creating this weird art while drawing all over my clothes. Even though I didn’t know Spanish, I thought for a long that I could speak it reasonably well.

“I felt like something horrible got into me,” he said, “something not wrong, but like a spirit. I became quite rebellious. I wanted to cause trouble. I had a strong anti-war stance and would act strangely revolutionary if [other people] weren’t with me. I said, “I’m going to stop this war in Afghanistan! This is crap.

Despite their ups and downs, Modest Mouse has been working on new songs to accompany The Golden Casket, according to frontman Isaac Brock in a July interview with NME. He told the magazine, “I’ve got seven new songs coming out soon.

“I had a thorn in my side with everyone asking, ‘Why does it take so long to put out records?’ as soon as we finished the last album,'” said the singer. I have other hobbies, after all! They’re not all great, but screw it! I have a record that I’m pleased with, so I don’t want to have to answer that question anymore.
