Megan Thee Stallion’s LA Home Reportedly Burglarized

Rapper Megan Thee Stallion, who is now in New York City serving as both host and musical guest on “SNL,” reportedly had her Los Angeles house burglarized. Following a TMZ story that two guys broke into her home on Thursday and stole at least $300,000 in jewellery, cash, and other goods, the rapper appeared to confirm the theft via Twitter.

Police have not yet made any arrests in connection with the burglary as of Friday, and Megan may not have been home at the time, according to law enforcement sources who spoke to TMZ. Megan’s agents were contacted by HuffPost for comment. On Friday, Megan tweeted that she was “happy everyone is okay” and that “material things can be replaced.”

She also discussed the need for a break after her appearance this weekend on “Saturday Night Live.” The rapper added, “Hotties, I’m very sorry, but after SNL I really have to take a vacation I’m so exhausted, physically and mentally.”

As Megan prepares to join the long list of musicians who have served as both host and musical guest on “SNL,” she asks for a break. The rapper will be the 37th person to have a dual position, joining the likes of Paul Simon, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Janet Jackson, Lizzo, and Taylor Swift.
