Montana Shooter Confined in Home Kills 1, Injures 2: In Billings, Montana, a shooting at a birthday celebration left one person dead and another injured, and the suspect was at first uncooperative as they locked themselves inside a house, according to police.
On Sunday evening, just after 6 o’clock local time, there was a noticeable police presence along Grand Avenue and 12th Street. In connection with a shooting, police were called to the 1200 block of Burlington Avenue, and residents were advised to leave the area.

The shooting injured one individual, who was subsequently taken to a hospital for treatment, according to Billings Police. Police also discovered a dead body at the crime scene that they suspect was related to the shooting.

Police reported that the shooter was not cooperating and had locked himself inside the house. Police stated that they were utilizing equipment to check inside the home, which had gas poured through it. They also stated that the suspect was the only person present.
