Morton Grove SUV Crash Caused by Falling Passenger: After a car accident Wednesday morning in Morton Grove left one person gravely injured, police are now looking into the incident. Around 3:53 in the morning, Morton Grove police were called to the intersection of Dempster and Austin for a traffic accident.

Initial reports state that the rear passenger of a 2010 White Nissan SUV approaching Austin on Dempster fell out onto the road. According to authorities, after the witness stopped, another car rear-ended him.
There were no reported injuries from the secondary collision. The passenger was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition after falling onto the road.

The Major Crash Assistance Team and Morton Grove Police are looking into the crash. Dempster is blocked going east from School Street to Austin Avenue.
