Multiple Hit-and-runs Murder Father in Florida: Six months after losing a family member to a hit-and-run motorist, a Central Florida family is still looking for answers. Levi Edwards won’t spend the holidays at home. Six months have passed since his death in Lake County on Christmas Eve. The matter has not been resolved.

“He cherished “dad jokes.” We’ve sent him t-shirts that say things like, “I say dumb dad jokes,” “Nona Keeler, Levi’s mother, remarked. “They have unresolved issues. They cannot even start to find closure, “Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Tara Crescezni made a statement.

Keeler claimed that Levi and his 14-year-old daughter had a good relationship and that she still speaks to her son when she visits his cemetery.

According to FHP officers, the 35-year-old was killed when a semi-truck traveling down U.S. Highway 27 struck and killed him while riding a bicycle in the bike lane close to U.S. Highway 192. On June 24, at about 4:45 a.m., it occurred. After that, two more automobiles allegedly struck Levi, and none of the drivers intervened.

Keeler stated, “It’s hard to think of it as simply a normal accident when you just drove away and left him to die on the side of the road by himself.” Lt. Crescezni said, “If you’re terrified, we understand that. But if you run away and now face criminal charges, that will be way scarier.”
