On Tuesday at 12:53 p.m., the Menlo Park Police Department responded to a complaint of an incident involving a tree trimmer who had fallen into a wood chipper on the 900 block of Peggy Lane while working.

The event took place around 30 miles south of San Francisco. The Menlo Park Police Department released a statement confirming the death, saying, “When police units got on the site, a male suspect was found deceased from injuries incurred in the altercation.

” The San Mateo County Coroner’s Office and the Menlo Park Fire Protection District also arrived to investigate the fatal crash. Authorities closed the street for their investigation, while other routes in the area remained accessible.
