Police Search Aston Twp. After Couple’s Death in Chester Heights: Investigators from the Pennsylvania State Police conducted a neighborhood search in Aston Township on Friday about the deaths of Rita Zajko, 69, and Richard Zajko, 72. Police conducted a welfare check on the couple on Monday and discovered them dead inside their Chester Heights home on Highland Drive.
According to neighbors, detectives have spent the whole week interrogating residents of the Aston Township area, which is roughly 4 miles from the crime scene. According to information obtained by Action News, the couple owned several apartments on Thomas Road and Aston Court and rented them out to renters.
