The 20-year-old daughter of reality TV star Kandi Burruss was barely recognisable to some fans over the weekend. Riley Burruss. The New York University student stunned her admirers on Sunday when she shared a TikTok video of herself dancing with her famous mother. Riley might be seen dancing in the video to Soldier Boy’s popular hit song “Pretty Boy Swag” while being described as a “daughter who loves spending money.”

The text “mom who makes all the money” then flashes across the screen as the camera immediately moves to Kandi, who is also whining up her hips to the timeless song. Even though the video was amusing, some viewers couldn’t help but notice the young celebrity’s drastic weight loss.

While some people praised Riley’s new figure, others questioned whether the young college student had undergone weight-loss surgery. “She needed to do something because there was no weight loss journey mentioned; instead, there was something else. 52 pounds have been lost by Riley Burruss since she began her weight-loss journey. Riley appears to have been putting a lot of effort into losing weight for some time. In April 2018, Kandi praised her daughter for dropping an incredible 52 pounds, telling fans that she was pleased with her.

In the caption of a photo of Riley at 220 pounds and another of the youngster at 168 pounds, Kandi wrote, “She did it the right way by working out 5 days a week & managing her calorie intake. Kandi went on to praise Riley for having “thick skin,” pointing out that online bullies have previously made fun of her daughter’s size.

“Y’all just don’t get how difficult it is to develop in front of the public and social media trolls who make derogatory remarks regarding children’s weight. Riley, fortunately, has tough skin and doesn’t let it upset her, but as her mother, it used to irritate me when trolls would criticise her size.

The socialite from Atlanta added:

“Because my kid is tall, no one realised she weighed over 200 pounds. She’s 5’9. & to be really honest, she wouldn’t have revealed her weight to anyone, but she now does so with pride in an effort to inspire those who are struggling with weight reduction.

Riley has since used her platform to assist others in getting in shape. To celebrate Childhood Obesity Month in 2019, the celebrity-hosted a free fitness programme called “Get Riled Up.”

The reality TV star announced the initiative in an Instagram post that has since been deleted, saying, “You guys have all been following my journey for a while now, and we all know I’ve been going through the ups and downs of weight loss and trying to get healthy and this month I want us to all stay motivated and Get Riled Up.” Happy birthday to Riley Burruss!
