Ryan Gosling, a Hollywood celebrity, shared the enthusiasm of the internet when he first saw a photo of himself as Ken in the upcoming Barbie movie. At the premiere of his newest action movie The Gray Man, he told Variety, “Finally, it’s happening. This has been building for my entire life. When it debuted online in June, Gosling’s bare-chested beach blonde design caused a stir. It included a spray tan and custom underwear. Gosling and Margot Robbie both appear in the movie, which Greta Gerwig co-wrote and directed. Robbie plays the movie’s main Mattel missie.

America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Kate McKinnon, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Mackey, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Issa Rae, and Michael Cera are among the attached supporting cast members in addition to Robbie and Gosling. Gosling quips that his goal for the production was a question of on-screen representation despite sharing the spotlight with so many famous people. “I thought I could see myself. I felt heard. When they see this, I think many Kens will feel understood,” Gosling concluded.

For the Kens, I’ve got to do it. The Kens don’t play with anyone. Gosling also took some time to talk about his experience filming The Gray Man, a new action movie on Netflix in which he kills a lot of people, jumps from buildings, and fights a moustachioed Chris Evans. Gosling admitted that he enjoyed his role as a superspy who had had enough in the Russo brothers’ production. It appears as though he doesn’t even want to be in this film. Like everyone else, he just wants to be at home watching Netflix,” Gosling added.

He needs to be a spy even though he doesn’t want to be. Gosling said that the success of the movie will influence future intentions about a sequel, but he wants to see his character permanently leave the world of espionage. I want him to return home. I’m interested in how it turns out for him,” remarked Ryan Gosling. Beginning on Friday, The Gray Man will have a brief run in theatres before making its Netflix premiere on July 22. The movie Barbie is scheduled to debut on July 21, 2023.
