Spring Hill Hwy. 31 Collision Near Rippavilla Kills Three: Early Friday morning, a deadly collision off US Highway 31 close to Rippavilla Plantation left three people dead. Spring Hill police are looking into the tragedy.
Two automobiles were involved in the accident, which happened Friday around 6:30 a.m., according to the Spring Hill Police Department.

The road’s northbound and southbound lanes were briefly closed due to the incident. Around 7:10 a.m., the northbound half of the highway reopened; the remainder did so around 9:30 a.m.
The victims’ names and other details about the tragedy remain secret.
