SUV Crashes Into Apple Shop in Hingham, Mass

Just before 11 a.m. on Monday, an SUV collided with an Apple shop at the Hingham Derby Street Shops, killing one man while treating 19 others at surrounding hospitals.

Tim Cruz, the district attorney for Plymouth County, said at a news conference that the 2019 Toyota 4Runner crashed into the business at about 10:45 a.m., shattering the glass and injuring several individuals.

A significant hole in the store’s glass front was visible in a video taken shortly after the collision by Sky 5. The scores of emergency personnel on the scene tended to the numerous persons lying on the ground outside the store.

Cruz claimed there was an ongoing criminal inquiry. Authorities did not right away identify the motorist. Cruz said people are still processing what happened and trying to get through this morning, calling it “an unimaginable morning.”
