Three People Die In A Collision In Rock County

Officials from Rock County responded to a two-vehicle collision that claimed three lives on Saturday night. At 9:45 p.m., Center Township’s intersection of West State Highway 11 and North County Highway H was the scene of a two-vehicle collision attended by Rock County Sheriff’s Deputies, Fire, and EMS personnel.

When a stop sign at West State Highway 11 was present, a Nissan Maxima travelling south on North County Highway H failed to stop, according to authorities. On West State Highway 11, a Ford Escape was travelling west when it collided with the Nissan on the driver’s side.

Officials reported that both drivers and a passenger in the Nissan were pronounced dead at the site. The injured passengers from the Nissan, the Ford, and two additional passengers were all sent to Mercy Hospital in Janesville.
