The weekend before his parents’ sentencing, Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley’s son Grayson were seriously injured in a vehicle accident and taken to the hospital. Grayson crashed his Ford F-150 into the back of a Dodge pickup truck that was halted in gridlock in Nashville late Saturday afternoon, Tennessee police confirmed to TMZ on Monday.
Grayson, 16, was taken to the hospital by ambulance to be examined for head injuries after it was alleged that he could not recollect what happened when speaking to police. The truck driver who Grayson rear-ended also had injuries, according to police, but he declined medical assistance.
Police said that no arrests, complaints, or tickets had been issued. The front of Grayson’s truck is utterly damaged in the images the website has got, with the bumper hanging off and the windscreen was broken. The Tennessee Highway Patrol and Grayson’s representatives did not promptly respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
After being found guilty of tax bank fraud and tax evasion in June, Todd, 53, and Julie, 49, were scheduled to be sentenced just a few days before the accident. The “Chrisley Knows Best” stars allegedly provided bogus documentation to financial institutions when they applied for loans. Julie reportedly did the same when she used to rent a home in California.

The sentence for Todd and Julie was initially scheduled for October 6, but it was postponed until November 21. The father of the Chrisley family has acknowledged that his success on reality TV caused him to become a “slave” to money.
