Woman and 4-month-old Niece Killed in Head-on Crash on Sr-60 in Osceola County: The Florida Highway Patrol reports that a head-on collision along State Road 60 on Thursday morning resulted in the deaths of a 22-year-old mother and a 4-month-old baby. According to the troopers, the accident happened close to Kenansville, west of Peavine Road, at approximately 11 a.m.

All the passengers in the black Nissan Altima, traveling east along State Road 60, were Miami residents: the mother, the 4-month-old, the 1-year-old child, and the woman’s adult sister.

According to the authorities, when the Altima entered the westbound lane to overtake another car, it collided head-on with the red Mazda SUV traveling west along the road. According to a crash report, the Altima veered off the road and overturned while the Mazda stopped nearby.

The collision caused a green Toyota Tacoma and a car to collide with debris, although neither vehicle’s occupants were hurt, according to the report. Both the 4-month-old infant passenger and the Altima’s 22-year-old driver were pronounced dead at the scene, according to troopers.

According to the accident report, the 1-year-old and the adult passenger were rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The 4-month-old was the adult passenger’s daughter, while the 1-year-old was the driver’s daughter, according to FHP.
