Sony Michel, a retired NFL running back, took to social media to dispel a story spread by an X user that claimed he had perished in a motorbike accἰdent. Although he had returned to the Los Angeles Rams a month earlier, Michel, 28, announced his retirement from the NFL two weeks prior.
He didn’t think he could handle another season’s atrophy any longer. The erroneous report was disseminated online by user “@BeatintheBookie” of X, who later expressed regret for his inaccurate sources. He made the account private as well. The user tweeted:

Meanwhile, Michel just posted on X to affirm that he is still alive and well, saying, “Fake news.” He won the Super Bowl twice before retiring.

Unfortunately, confusion resulted in false rumors that Sony Michel, a two-time Super Bowl champion, had pἀssed away. The recently retired running back announced his survival on social media and called the rumors “fake news” in response.
The false news that Michel had perished in a motorbike accἰdent broke the same day that NFL running back Alex Collins had perished in that accἰdent.
As a result, media outlets may have misidentified them when they jumped on the story too quickly. Both the true case and the fraudulent story indicated that the incidents took place in Florida and that both athletes were 28 years old.

Michel’s retirement was recently confirmed by the Los Angeles Rams. He made the decision to stop playing American football because of the physical toll that injuries had on him. He contended with knee and quad strains in the NFL, which need minor surgery.
According to Mirror, In high school, he also suffered an ACL tear. Rams head coach Sean McVay said as he announced Michel’s surprise retirement:

McVay added:
“It’s a bummer, but his body’s feeling like it’s talking to him, and I have nothing but respect and appreciation for the competitor that he is.”
After being selected by the New England Patriots in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, Michel played in just five NFL seasons, but he made the most of it. With the Patriots and Rams, the former Georgia college star received Super Bowl rings. With 3,243 yards on the ground and 20 all-purpose touchdowns, he had a successful career.
Collins, the running back who tragically pἀssed away, played for both the Baltimore Ravens and the Seattle Seahawks. He was selected in the fifth round of the NFL Draft after putting up impressive numbers at Arkansas, where he ran for 1,577 yards as a junior.
According to Yahoo, Collins hit the back passenger side of a turning SUV while riding a motorcycle in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. The authorities pronounced him dead there. read a statement from the Ravens:
