Following an overnight fire, Pedernales Fire Firefighters report that an 8,000-square-foot garage in western Travis County is a “total loss.” It is situated along the Colorado River in the 800 block of Angel Light Drive, east of Briarcliff.
The fire department reported on Twitter that the neighboring home and property were not harmed. Investigations into the cause are ongoing.

The department told KXAN there were reports of several vehicles inside the garage, but no one was reported to be inside. The fire was contained in the garage.

The department tweeted that everyone should stay away from the area for safety’s sake and to give workers tasks to conclude. There was no one inside the house, according to accounts, it stated.
