According to a Jones spokeswoman, the producer dialed 911 “just to be safe.” When Jones arrived at a local hospital from his Los Angeles home, physicians quickly concluded that he was fine and released him. The composer’s manager told TMZ that the musician never lost consciousness and that he was in “excellent spirits” when he left the hospital.
On Sunday (18 June), the Times contacted a representative for Jones but did not receive a response right away. Jones has worked with several musical legends, including Miles Davis, Ray Charles, Duke Ellington, and Michael Jackson.
