Simone Battle was battling with financial problems before committing suἰcide. Her boyfriend found the promising pop singer and G.R.L member hanging in her West Hollywood home on Saturday, September 6. She wasn’t even 25.
Since then, a Los Angeles County coroner has determined she committed suἰcide. Family members reportedly told law authorities that Battle had been upset over financial concerns and frustrated that her band hadn’t yet succeeded in breaking into the US mainstream.
The band’s remaining members tweeted in tribute-

However, They have claimed that they will “carry her memory with us in everything we do” since that time. Following the devἀstating news, their scheduled performance at the Marquee nightclub in Las Vegas on Monday, September 8th, was canceled.
Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini paid tribute to the singer, who became well-known in 2011 after appearing on the US version of X Factor.

Simone Battle’s unfortunate deἀth on Friday was determined to be a suἰcide by hanging. The former X Factor contestant and singer for G.R.L. was only 25 years old. The management and record labels for her music group acknowledged her deἀth on Saturday.
Founder of the G.R.L. organization Robin Antin paid tribute to Simone on Instagram on Saturday, writing-
“Simone I will miss your smile, Your adorable laugh, Your loving spirit that you brought to all of us, The joy that you felt when you were singing, dancing, performing, laughing, and goofing around with your GRLs, and most of all the beautiful friendship and bond that tied us all together, that will forever be in my heart…”
She continued, “How lucky we are to have had You in our lives Simone, you inspired us all, and touched fans all around the world with your sweet sweet voice and talent. We will NEVER forget… I Love you sweet Simone Rest in Peace…”

G.R.L’s other four members, Paula Van Oppen, Lauren Bennett, Emmalyn Estrada, and Natasha Slayton, issued a joint statement on the group’s Instagram account:
