Darke County Witnesses Gunfire During An Altercation

(WDTN) DAYTON, Ohio After one man tossed a rock at another’s car, shots rang out in Darke County. At about 4:45 a.m. on Tuesday, a man in his forties waited at the corner of Worth and Pickett roads in Union City for the woman he thought was his ex-girlfriend to retrieve some of his belongings.

An additional man (46) arrived with the property, and an argument ensued between them. Darke County law enforcement reports that a 46-year-old man was shot after a man from Union City hurled a rock at his car.

According to the sheriff’s office, the 46-year-old got a 12-gauge shotgun and fired one shot into the air before fleeing the area in his vehicle.
