Authorities have found that Dave Hollis, who used to work for Disney and was the ex-husband of well-known self-help author Rachel Hollis, dἰed of an accἰdental overdose this year.
Hollis, who was 47, dἰed at his home outside of Austin, Texas, on February 12. An autopsy done by the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office and given to NBC News showed that he had too much cocaine, fentanyl, and alcohol in his bl00d to live.
Before leaving Disney in 2018 to work for his wife’s business, Hollis was in charge of marketing for the company. According to the autopsy, he had a history of drυg and alcohol abυse, depression, high bl00d pressure, and hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular dἰsease.
According to the autopsy, the dἰsease makes the bl00d vessels that bring bl00d to the heart shrink and harden. Rachel Hollis, who wrote the best-selling book “Girl, Wash Your Face,” said that the couple broke up in 2020 because they couldn’t make their 18-year relationship work.
She said at the time in an Instagram post that they decided it was “healthier and more respectful for us to choose this as the end of our journey as a married couple.”
