When Did Evan Ellingson Die?
On Sunday, November 5, 2023, at 11:30 a.m., Ellingson’s body was discovered in the bedroom of a Fontana residence. According to San Bernardino police, there were no overt indications of misconduct. According to Ellingson’s father, the former child star battled drug addiction and passed away in the sober living facility where he was residing. Ellingson had been doing much better, according to his father, but he abruptly passed away, shocking the family.

In Which Movies Did Evan Ellingson Appear?
Growing up in La Verne with his three brothers, he was born on July 1, 1988. Discovered in a skate park at the age of ten, he was invited to join the Vans PeeWee squad and appear in an advertisement for the shoe brand. Ellingson then went on to work in television after landing guest appearances on “Mad TV.”
In 2000, he was a frequent cast member of the Fox sitcom “Titus.” In 2004, he starred with Keith Carradine and Erik von Detten as Kyle Savage in the ABC comedy “Complete Savages.” He co-starred with Kiefer Sutherland in the 2007 film “24” as Josh Bauer.
He portrayed Kyle Harmon, the son of Lt. Horatio “H” Caine, played by David Caruso, in “CSI: Miami” from 2007 to 2010. Abigail Breslin, Cameron Diaz, and Alec Baldwin also starred in Ellingson’s 2009 film “My Sister’s Keeper.”
For “Complete Savages,” they nominated him for a Young Artist Award in 2005 for outstanding performance in a TV series. Although he has starred in twenty films, it has been over ten years since his last release.
The former celebrity went to River’s Edge Ranch in 2021 to get treatment for his drug addiction. In a review that the ranch uploaded to YouTube, he stated:
“Life before the drugs was kinda just fun. I’ve always been kind of a [people] person, I would say around 19 is when I got into the heavy drugs. My rock bottom was when I was 19. My older brother Austin, he died from a heroin overdose and when he died … it sent me over the edge.”
