The Wisconsin city of Green Bay is mourning the loss of Kevin Harding, a respected member of the community, who passed away on August 28, 2023. Family, close friends, and neighbors are saying their final goodbyes to a remarkable person whose impact was both broad and deep.
Kevin was a well-liked and admired figure who was known for his everlasting kindness, lively humor, and sincere empathy. He was raised in Green Bay and was born and raised there. He had a strong sense of loyalty to his hometown and actively participated in many local projects.
Kevin’s selflessness inspired others to support his charitable activities through his active participation as a volunteer at neighborhood shelters and food banks. As he faithfully carried out his duties as a school counselor, guiding several pupils toward the accomplishment of their goals, his ardent commitment to education shone beautifully.
His mentoring went beyond academic concerns, frequently lending a sympathetic ear and encouraging words that had a lasting imprint on the young hearts he touched. Beyond his obligations to his job, Kevin’s passion for nature was contagious.
He took great joy in exploring Wisconsin’s natural beauty, and his love of hiking and camping excursions brought family and friends together for cherished adventures.
Kevin will undoubtedly leave behind a legacy of kindness, comprehension, and civic zeal as Green Bay comes together to remember and commemorate his life during this time of mourning. Even though his passing might seem premature.

Kevin Harding Obituary
According to Greenbaypressgazette, On Sunday, August 27, 2023, Kevin Patrick Harding, 42, of De Pere, Wisconsin, passed away in Saint Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin. On January 26, 1981, Thomas and Margaret Harding welcomed their fourth child into the world in Marinette, Wisconsin.

After graduating from Marinette High School in 1999, he continued his education by enrolling at Fox Valley Technical College to pursue culinary arts. After spending some time as a sous chef at the Oneida Country Club, Kevin moved on to the Green Bay Country Club as the head chef.
Kevin changed his work direction to be more available with regular hours for his family as he became more accustomed to family life. Since 2017, he has been a team leader at Georgia Pacific in Green Bay.
Kevin is survived by two children, a daughter, Sophie and son, Harper; his parents, Thomas and Margaret of Marinette; sister, Bridget Engen (David) of Monrovia, CA; sister, Katie Smogoleski (Jason) of Wausau, WI; twin brother, Christopher Harding (Betsy) of Bellevue, WI; nephews, Luke Smogoleski, Jack Harding, and Trevor Harding; niece, Mallory Smogoleski and many wonderful cousins, coworkers, and lifelong friends.
Kevin was a caring and imaginative person who enjoyed music, cooking, the Chicago Cubs, and spending time with his loved ones. He was endowed with a tremendous amount of kindness, wit, and humor. He delighted in making others laugh.
Kevin gave as much in life as he did in death, and his last deed was to save lives by donating his organs and tissues. Visitation will take place at the Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home in Marinette, Wisconsin, on Monday, September 4, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
A luncheon will be held after the funeral mass, which will begin at 11:00 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Menominee, Michigan. The family requests that you do an act of kindness for someone else instead of flowers.
