On Wednesday, May 31, 2023, Lois C. Barman pἀssed away at her home at 90. She was the daughter of Peter and Bernadine (Brings) Haag and was born in Perry Township on April 4, 1933. At St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in East Bristol, on May 22 in, 1954, she wed Jerome Barman.
She spent most of her life working alongside her husband on the family farm. Her children, Bonnie (Russ) Jorstad of Edgerton, Ronald (Deborah) of DeForest, Marie (Neil) Larson of Madison, Duane (Miel) of Sun Prairie, Rita (Jeff) Hicks of Sun Prairie, and Bill (Jeni) of Sun Prairie, as well as 11 grandchildren.
Her parents, her husband Jerome in 2008, one of her sons Kenneth, one of her sisters Frances Yelk, and one of her brothers Cletus Haag, all pἀssed away before she did.
On Monday, June 5, 2023, at eleven in the morning, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, located at 2420 St. Albert’s Drive in Sun Prairie, with Monsignor Donn Heiar serving as the celebrant.

On Monday, the church will be open for visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. and continuing up until the time of the service. Sacred Hearts Cemetery will be the location of the Burial. The family would like to express their gratitude to Karissa and Jocelyn for the excellent care that they provided for Grandma.
