Officers issued a shelter-in-place order to residents close to Powers Avenue because of an armed guy eluding them.

Additionally, they advised locals to find another place to spend the night if they couldn’t make it home. The injured officer is anticipated to recover fully, according to the authorities.

Around 2:30 pm, police were called to the Powers Avenue neighborhood to deal with an issue. According to police, the suspect shot at them while they were behind a barricade.

Lithicum is characterized as a white male with reddish hair, facial hair, and longer-looking hair than the police photograph suggests. According to the authorities, he was last seen sporting a black hoodie and jeans.

A resident’s ring camera captures the image of emergency crews and police officers encircling Linthicum’s house. Sina Lotfi, a resident, said: “This is crazy.”

“I’ve never seen anything like it before.”

According to Lofti, his wife and daughter were at home during the standoff. He added,

“I’m worried about them, too, but there’s nothing I can do,”

What made Baltimore County Police begin searching for Linthicum outside of the house in the middle of the blockade was not disclosed by the agency.
