With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we lament the loss of Jersey Poff, an adored Ohioan who left us far too soon. Everyone Jersey came into contact with remembers her as a vibrant and dedicated student.

She always exhibited a fantastic enthusiasm for life, whether she was dancing madly, singing exuberantly, or wrestling with unwavering intensity. She was a youthful soul who lived life to the fullest and had a profound impact on everyone who had the good fortune to know her.

Jersey was recognized for both her vibrant vibrancy and her unwavering faith. Her religious beliefs acted as a compass, inspiring and comforting everyone around her. She garnered the affection of both staff and students with her genuine friendliness and infectious attitude.

She gave light even on the darkest of days, and her absence has left a profound void that can never fully be filled. As the St. Marys community and schools mourn Jersey’s passing, her family, friends, and everyone else whose life she touched are in our thoughts and prayers.

Jersey Poff, 11, of St. Marys, suddenly fell ill and passed away too soon, shocking the entire neighborhood. She was a student at St. Marys Intermediate School and was Allison and Jody Poff’s daughter.

In honor of Jersey, who oversaw the team’s volleyball operations, the St. Marys volleyball team requested that fans wear pink to their match At St. Mary’s Wayne Street Church, prayer vigils were held today.

The Reverend Tim Benjamin will officiate at the funeral services, which will start at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 8, 2023, at the Wayne Street Church in St. Marys. Elm Grove Cemetery will thereafter conduct the funeral ceremonies.

On Thursday, there will be a visitation from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wayne Street Church, where memorial contributions can be made to the St. Marys All Abilities Park Fund. Jersey’s parents are requesting that everyone dress casually in her memory to honor her. If you have cowboy boots, go ahead and wear them!

Jersey Poff Cause Of Death

The sudden sickness and passing of Jersey Poff on September 3, 2023, 11, has plunged the neighborhood into deep sadness. At this point, it is unclear why she left so soon after originally planned. Allison and Jody Poff, Jersey’s parents, are battling the debilitating sadness that follows a child’s passing.

It is known that Jersey was involved in an accident where the victims suffered from unidentified wounds. Medical professionals have confirmed Jersey’s passing after learning the tragic news that she died as a result of her wounds.

Her exact cause of death is still a mystery. The St. Marys Roughriders Volleyball Parents posted a message on their Facebook page:

This is in contrast to the prior initiatives to rally assistance and good thoughts for her recovery. Jersey Poff, the daughter of Jody and Alison June Poff, was well-liked in the St. Marys neighborhood. She left a radiant and infectious energy that altered everyone who had the good fortune to know her.
