Estridge Jr. led his firm for 15 years but had to halt its operations when he filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in September 2011. This financial crisis was due to the devastating impact of the recession on the home-building industry. However, he made a comeback to home building this year with a project in Westfield.

Both Paul Estridge and his wife decided to sell their interests in the business six years later. They were dissatisfied with the challenges of dealing with politicians, the state, and the gaming commission. These complexities became too much for Paul Estridge Jr. to manage.
