The National Weather Service predicts that rain and wind will return in force to San Diego County on Friday and Saturday.

Half an inch to an inch of rain is forecast near the coast, an inch to an inch and a half in the mountains, and a quarter of an inch or less in the high desert, with even less likely in the lower desert, according to NWS.
Southwestern to western winds with gusts up to 40 mph are forecast for the mountains and deserts through Saturday. Meanwhile, NWS predicts the highest winds will be in the lower desert slopes on Friday morning, with up to 60 mph gusts.

On Friday, gather your coats because the weather is predicted to be several degrees cooler than on Thursday. However, the NWS predicts several degrees warmer temperatures on Saturday and drier, warmer weather on Sunday.
