Samantha Leigh (Miller) Hutchinson, who was loved as a daughter, sister, aunt, friend, cat mom, and wife, dἰed in Folly Beach, South Carolina, on April 28, 2023. She was 34 years old.
Sam was suddenly taken from this world just hours after saying “I do” to the love of her life, Aric Hutchinson, and just minutes after leaving her wedding spot, where she had spent the whole day surrounded by friends and family celebrating. Sam’s special day was her last due to the reckless actions of a drunk driver.
Sam is survived by her husband and soulmate, Aric Hutchinson, her mom and best friend, Lisa Miller, her fathers, David Miller and Brad Warner, and many of her brothers, including Nathan Miller, Mandi Jenkins, and Joseph Miller.

People all over the country have been saddened by Sam’s deἀth, both those who knew her and those who didn’t. Even though the outpouring of grief and support has been comforting and reassuring after Sam’s deἀth, many of the people who have shown kindness don’t know who she was. This is Sam:
Samantha was pure light and contagious love. Her smile said it all. She brought peace, confidence, and laughter wherever she went, and she never hesitated to tell a few dirty jokes.
Sam was both brave and kind, and she didn’t care what other people thought of her. She was a beautiful force that could not be ignored. It’s hard to put into words how incredibly special she was.
She had a rare kind of genuineness. On her wedding day, she showed off every bit of her bright personality. The fact that she was eager to walk down the aisle showed how brave she was. She didn’t have jitters or second thoughts. Aric was the one for her. They loved each other in a way that most people will never understand.
Sam’s surprise dance for her mother on her big day showed her kindness and her desire to make everyone around her feel loved and heard. The DJ said that it would be a dance with the person who was most important to the bride. Sam was the one who came up with the idea for this amazing moment.
And her ability to light up a room, which was shown by how happy and bright everyone felt at her wedding. If you looked around at any point, you would have seen a sea of happy faces. From walking down the aisle and cutting the cake to showing off her rhythm on the dance floor, she was illuminated.
