One person was hurt in a gunshot at Towson Circle on Sunday night. According to police preliminary information, officers responded to a report of shots fired close to Towsontown & Washington Avenue just before 7:30 p.m.
Officers arrived on the site and discovered a man victim who had been shot. He was taken from the site to a nearby hospital. Police said there is still an investigation going on. There was no immediate information on any potential suspects.
Following a succession of violent occurrences in Towson, this happened. Three women were raped at gunpoint just yards from Towson Circle more than a week ago. After learning that 28-year-old Quantze Davis had entered a local store and used ApplePay to make a transaction, police tracked him down. Police were then able to recognize him and apprehend him.
“This is a heinous crime. It’s atrocious, as a father, I’m disgusted by what happened,” said Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski. Baltimore verified that robberies and s*xual assaults also occurred in February, within a short distance from Towson Circle.

The victims were on Allegheny Avenue when a man with a gun approached them. Baltimore County’s Towson is not the only place plagued by violent crime. In Owings Mills’s brushy area, Baltimore County Police earlier this month found human remains.
The person’s identity is not known at this time. The state Medical Examiner’s Office has received the remains, which will be identified there.
