Wednesday, citizens of Texas said they heard an explosion, and two American aircraft reported spotting a meteorite over the state. Two airplanes reported seeing the meteorite above Mission and McAllen, Texas, and contacted Houston Air Traffic Control.
At about 8:30 p.m., the police reported that a meteorite had been spotted in Texas. It’s still unclear where exactly the meteor landed. There were reports of people’s homes shaking due to the intensity of the explosion.

According to US media, Hidalgo County Sheriff Eddie Guerra claimed,
“No reports of any damage in that area has been received.”

It was alleged that witnesses “felt the earth tremble.” There was a ‘loud explosion’ reported in Mission, which is located not far from the international boundary between the United States and Mexico.
