Those who knew and loved Holly Amanda Seay (Thrift), a lively soul with an unbreakable spirit, will miss her. On Monday, June 26, 2023, Holly lost her brave fight against colon canceɼ and her lifelong battle with cystic fἰbrosis at the age of 28.

Her paternal grandparents, George and Nadine Thrift, and her maternal grandfather, Harry Collins, predeceased her. Cameron Seay, her loyal husband, and her beloved dogs Winnie and Lily are the only people left to treasure her memories.
Her devoted parents, Jeanne, James Thrift, and brothers Christian Thrift and Justin Summerour—married to Kristen Summerour—are still here to take care of Holly. Olivia Summerour, Holly’s niece, had a particular place in her heart.

Her maternal grandmother, Rose Mary Collins, father and mother-in-law, Don and Sharon Seay, and brother-in-law Cory Seay and his wife Mary also express their sorrow at her demἰse. Due to Holly’s presence in their lives, numerous additional family members and friends also participate in the grieving process.
A memorial service honoring Holly’s life has been held at The Chapel, 3001 McEver Rd #5563, Gainesville, GA 30504, on Thursday, June 29, at 2 pm. After the funeral, a happy celebration of her life is held to remember the moments and adventures spent with Holly.
The family invites floral tributes or contributions to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in memory of Holly and to help the fight against the dἰsease. By supporting this cause, Holly’s legacy will go beyond her own experience and encourage and hope to those who are struggling with this difficult ἰllness.
