Jahmyr Gibbs Injury Update
Jahmyr Gibbs of the Detroit Lions is showing signs of rehabilitation after suffering a hamstring injury. This is fantastic news for the team, as their starting running back, David Montgomery, has a rib injury and will be out for a while. Montgomery will be sidelined “for a little bit” due to a rib injury, according to coach Dan Campbell.
Montgomery had been having a good season, averaging 4.1 yards per run and scoring six touchdowns, but he had to exit the game after only six carries. On the plus side, Jahmyr Gibbs is making improvements and could be ready for Week 7. The Lions have been on a roll, winning four straight games and improving to 5-1 on the season.

Craig Reynolds, a 27-year-old running back, will play a crucial part in the team with both Montgomery and Gibbs out due to injury. The Lions did not rely much on the rushing game in their recent victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with quarterback Jared Goff throwing for 353 yards and two touchdowns, aided by Amon-Ra St. Brown’s strong effort.
