At 49 years old, Brooke Gomez departed from this life. The New York Police Department reported that they discovered the house expert, who is based in New York City, asleep and unresponsive in her Upper East Side residence.

On Wednesday, November 22, 2023, Gomez’s crew posted an homage to her on her Instagram page. They declared:

“We are greatly saddened by the sudden passing of our friend, Brooke Gomez, a light that shined brilliantly on everyone who knew her. A gathering of friends to celebrate her life is being planned. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.”

Did Brooke Gomez’s Cause of Death Revealed?

The NYPD claimed there is no suspicion of criminal activity, but the medical examiner has not yet disclosed Brooke Gomez’s cause of death. Her passing struck a deep chord with many of her acquaintances, and a number of them paid tribute to her on social media.

Gomez ran a reputable interior design company. Early in her career, she worked with her mother, the well-known interior designer Mariette Himes Gomez. She has celebs like Sigourney Weaver, Michael J. Fox, and Bethenny Frankel on her client list on her website.

Bravo’s second season of Bethenny Ever After even included her working on Frankel’s Tribeca loft. Having grown up in New York, Gomez studied political science at Brown University. She said that the design sector has always drawn her in on the corporate website. In her bio, she stated:

“I did take quite a few Art History classes. Growing up, my brother and I were constantly surrounded by art and art appreciation. And like my mother, I consider the art selection process and integral and essential aspect of design.”

According to the website, she was passionate about what she did. Says she:

“Interior design is very creative and very cerebral. And that’s the juxtaposition I was looking for.”
