Cosmetics influencer Jeffree Star has shared a critical review of Hailey Bieber’s skincare business, Rhode, on TikTok and closed his video by dumping the model’s items in the garbage. Bieber (née Baldwin), who is married to music sensation Justin Bieber, has been utilizing social media to market her brand for the past several months.

She joins a lengthy list of famous people who have entered the beauty industry. Star owns his own cosmetics and skincare brands and grew his brand through YouTube makeup reviews and tutorials. In a TikTok video that appears to have been deleted since then, he offered his opinion on Hailey Bieber’s merchandise.

“OK, so the packaging is so boring,” said Star, 37, after revealing that he had received the gray-packed products in the post. Alluding to Hailey Bieber’s purported feud with Selena Gomez, her husband’s ex, Star added (as reported by The Tab)-

“In this house, we are Team Selena and we were Team Not Bullying Anyone.”

Pointing out an image of Bieber, 26, included in the pack, Star went on (as reported by Pinkvilla) –

“And then I open it up and, girl, she literally looks like she wants to die. Like, focus. Oh my God, that face is like, ‘Why did I do this? Why did I create a skincare brand?”

Taking another swipe at Bieber, whose father is Hollywood actor Stephen Baldwin, Star said (as reported by Eviemagazine) –

“So, when you’re privileged and you use daddy’s money, and you’ve never worked a day in your life, I guess this is what we’re doing. OK, you guys, I don’t even know what to say. This is so boring. I’m not even trying to be funny for once. This is what she’s giving.”

Star then held the package over his kitchen trash can, as he said (as reported by Newsweek) –

“So, we’re gonna slip today’s review… wait, she doesn’t even deserve a pink trash can.”

Cutting to a shot of him throwing Hailey Bieber’s products into an outdoor trash can, Star concluded: “And just like Shawn Mendes said, ‘Bye!'” Although Star appeared to have removed the video in the past, it was nonetheless recorded and posted on Twitter, dividing members of the social media site.

Several people sided with Star, while others claimed that bullying was also included in the influencer’s post. Gomez, 30, and Justin Bieber, 29, became romantically involved for the first time in 2010. Over the course of several years, they continued to date intermittently before officially breaking up in March 2018.

Soon after, Canadian-born “Sorry” singer Justin Bieber started dating Hailey Baldwin, the two later got married in September 2018. The two previously had a brief romance beginning in December 2015. Supporters of Selena Gomez have recently accused Hailey Bieber of insulting the singer in a number of Instagram stories.

A portion of Gomez’s followers have allegedly charged the model with drawing Kylie Jenner into the rumored conflict. As the online drama escalated, Gomez announced during a TikTok live (as reported by People) –

“I’m going to be taking a second from social media, because this is a little silly. I’m 30 and am too old for this. But I love you so much, and I’ll see you guys sooner than later.”

A crowd at the Rolling Loud festival earlier this month yelled, “f*** Hailey,” when Justin Bieber’s surprise duet with Don Toliver was over. Fans accused Hailey Bieber of being a “mean girl” after she released a video with her friends Kendall and Justine Skye, which sparked speculations of a feud. In the clip, the trio lip-synced to the audio (as reported by yahoo) –

“I’m not saying she deserves it, but I’m saying God’s timing is always right.”

The video dropped just as Gomez was being body-shamed for having gained some weight due to her lupus medication. That same month, speculation of a feud escalated when Gomez shared in a TikTok post that she had “accidentally laminated [her] brows too much.”

The following day, Jenner uploaded a picture of herself to her Instagram stories with the message “this was an accident???” scrawled over her eyebrows. Then, she posted another tale with a screenshot of her and Hailey Bieber using FaceTime while holding their devices close to their brows.

Fans of Gomez believed they were mocking the singer and Only Murders in the Building star, but Jenner rejected their claims.

“This is reaching,” Jenner, 25, commented on TikTok about the incident (as reported on Twitter) –

“No shade towards Selena ever and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts! u guys are making something out of nothing. this is silly.”
